V-Sporthorses is more than just a sports stable — it’s a family story, driven by passion, trust, and love for the horse, founded in 2012 in the rural town of Loenhout. What V-Sporthorses is today has its roots in the vision of father Leo Vermeiren, the founder of our breeding program. His knowledge, dedication, and passion continue to form the foundation of everything we do.

Today, this story is carried forward with the same passion by our family: Gert Vermeiren and Gitta Maerten, alongside our children, Jasper and Mila. As a family, we are present every day with the horses, always focusing on quality, respect, and a sustainable future.

We specialize in training young horses and stallions, with an emphasis on calmness, correctness, and trust. Each horse is given the time to develop both physically and mentally, as the foundation for a long and successful sporting career.

Under the name V-Stallions, we run our own stallion station, where strong genetics, professional guidance, and a sport-focused vision come together. Our breeding program, rooted in the legacy of Leo Vermeiren, remains dedicated to breeding modern sport horses with power, mentality, and health.

A special source of pride in our story is our Olympic stallion Naxcel V. His achievements at the highest level perfectly reflect what V-Sporthorses stands for: passion, craftsmanship, and a belief in talent.

Through V-Equine Rehab, we also offer rehabilitation services for sport horses, supported by innovative technology, primarily the Equitron-Pro. This way, we not only guide horses to peak performance but also ensure responsible and sustainable recovery.
